California Tourism Month
Throughout California Tourism Month, May 1-31, 2026, Visit Temecula Valley will shine a spotlight on the key role our local businesses play in boosting our local economy and enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
Temecula welcomes more than 3 million visitors annually. This results in $1.1 billion dollars in travel spending and nearly 10,000 tourism-related jobs. The tourism dollars the City receives through local taxes are used to improve the residents’ quality of life. This includes road improvements, law enforcement, new sidewalks, street lighting, park enhancements, and so much more, thanks to our visitors!
We are encouraging locals to "Live like a Tourist" in their own town during the month of May. Sometimes we forget how great we have it living in Temecula. We hope these special offers will motivate you to get out and have some fun as if you were on vacation.
