Let freedom ring this 4th of July, or Independence Day, by extending your weekend into the holiday. Temecula Valley has fun ways to spark your family vacation.
Nothing says a family summer vacation like camping and KOA at Vail Lake has everything ready for you starting on Thursday, June 29, through Monday, July 3, with arts and crafts, Mini Golf, Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Giant Yahtzee, Checkers, Ping Pong, Basketball, Pickleball, Horseshoe, and Disc Golf. Every day there are activities, including swimming in the pool, a Barrel Train and contests over the weekend.
California Ranch Company (CRC) is hosting Wine Country Barrel Racers' "Fire Cracker Jackpot" Friday, June 30th through Sunday, July 2nd. This event is free to spectators. There will also be food, drinks and vendors.
For a more upscale event, there will be A White Party at Callaway Vineyard & Winery on Saturday, July 1. Dress in your best white cocktail attire and indulge in a night of luxurious fun, including a sushi bar, dancing, a photo booth and signature drinks.
Tuesday, July 3, Grazing Theory is doing a Stars & Stripes themed board charcuterie workshop. The price of $125 includes all the ingredients to create your board, two glasses of beer or wine, a “selfie” station to capture your creation, and a deliciously beautiful board ready to share with family and friends.
4th of July Extravaganza includes a morning parade in Old Town Temecula then a family day at Ronald Reagan Sports Park starting at 2pm with food vendors, Kids Fun Zone, and entertainment followed by an impressive firework show at nightfall.
Fireworks take center stage this 4th of July at Pechanga Resort Casino. Starting at 9pm guests can watch the Southern Temecula night sky light up with a 20-minute firework show. A great tip is to arrive early and enjoy dinner at one of the 12 restaurants. You may even want to try your luck at one of their table games or slots!
Live music can be enjoyed at these family friendly wineries Avensole Winery, Falkner Winery, and Fazeli Cellars. All of which have fantastic restaurants.
Need a refreshing dip in the pool? Embassy Suites has an expansive pool with chase lounges, while Staybridge Suites and Hilton Garden Inn include firepits near the poolside. For extreme pool experiences, consider The Pool at BOTTAIA or The Cove at Pechanga.
