Temecula Celebrates America's 250th with Independence Day Festivities - Temecula will begin celebrating Independence Day with “Uncle Sam” and Temecula Mayor Jessica Alexander handing out free cookies in Old Town July 1 and 2 from 2-3 p.m. From June 30-July 4, Bottega Italia will offer all active military, veterans, first responders, a complimentary 5 oz. gelato as a small token of appreciation. On July 4, the annual 4th of July parade will take place in Old Town at 10 a.m., followed by an afternoon of family-friendly activities, live music, and a spectacular firework display at Ronald Reagan Sports Park at 9 p.m.
