Southern California's holiday destination opens Nov. 27 and runs through Dec. 30
Winterland at Galway Downs returns this holiday season with a variety of festive holiday experiences. Guests can ice skate beneath a canopy of lights, ride a train, visit Santa's Cottage, enjoy live music every weekend, and wander a village of makers and food vendors.
The centerpiece is a 4,000-square-foot open-air ice rink lit from above, with skate rental included in every session. Guests who prefer wheels can head to a disco-lit roller rink alongside the ice, complete with its own soundtrack.
Beyond skating, visitors can:
- Ride a train through the lights, wrapped in a blanket with a cup of cocoa
- Take a festive hayride through the grounds, presented by Temecula Valley Buick GMC
- Meet Santa at Santa's Cottage, with nightly visits leading up to Christmas
- Catch weekend concerts on the main stage, included with admission (marquee concerts excluded)
- Shop 20-plus vendors at the lantern-lit Makers Market for gifts, ornaments and keepsakes
- Sample food and beverages from vendors, with options that vary nightly
