Bike Trails in Temecula Valley
The rolling hills of Temecula Valley Southern California’s Wine Country provide a unique adventure for cyclists seeking a thrilling challenge while on vacation. More leisurely – and flat – biking journeys can be enjoyed by cruising around town and through Temecula’s scenic Old Town lined with local shops and artisan eats when a break is needed. For an all-day biking journey, consider packing a picnic and biking at Santa Rosa Plateau’s Ecological Reserve; from serious mountain biking terrain to easy-breezy trails with a view, there is a trail for every level.
There are over 90 miles of bicycle trails and more than 20 additional miles throughout Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country. This provides a wonderful experience for novice and experienced cyclists alike.

Nestled between Murrieta Creek and Diaz Road, the Temecula section of the Murrieta Creek Regional Trail features scenic picnic areas, and both paved and dirt surfaces. Riders can follow the creek north or cross under the freeway to connect all the way from Old Town to Wine Country.
