Experience the essence of summer with Along for the Ride as they return to The Merc with their timeless repertoire rooted in the bossa nova spirit of the late 1950s. This multicultural ensemble, from Brazil, Mexico, and the United States, invites you on a journey through the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Rio de Janeiro. With influences reminiscent of Sergio Mendes and the harmonious echoes of Tom Jobim, their music transports you to the heart of Brazilian culture, paying homage to legendary composers such as Tom Jobim, Ivan Lins, João Donato, and Jorge Ben, as well as the classic Beatles and the band's original creations.
