Springtime in Temecula Valley is an ideal time to enjoy show-stopping outdoor beauty, world-class wines, and small-town hospitality and charm. Visitors can enjoy the Valley’s gorgeous spring blooms, take flight in a hot air balloon over scenic vineyards, hike or bike on one of dozens of trails, or stroll through the picturesque streets of Old Town. For those looking for a Spring recharge, the Temecula Valley is a true sanctuary for wellness seekers.

Temecula Valley: A Sanctuary for Wellness Seekers

For travelers seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, Temecula offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and wellness experiences. From indulgent spa treatments inspired by native botanicals to invigorating hikes through scenic hills and historical landmarks, the region provides a variety of ways to nourish the body, mind, and soul. Whether enjoying a tranquil spa day overlooking picturesque vineyards, enjoying a healthy farm-to-table meal, or walking the streets of Old Town, Temecula is an ideal destination for a restorative getaway.

At Spa Pechanga, the Native American spa at Pechanga Resort Casino, guests can experience a relaxing and soothing 20-minute audio sound bath and meditation session as a prelude to a massage or treatment session. This luxurious, sensory-rich audio journey takes guests on a path that would have been taken by the Payomkawichum (people of the West) thousands of years ago, from the Temecula Valley to the shores of Oceanside. After selecting a preferred native botanical scent and covering the eyes with an eye mask, guests wear special headphones to “hear” the journey, from walking along creeks and past towering oaks with leaves fluttering in the Southern California breeze, to the waves crashing on the shoreline.

Rose and Wisteria Blooms
Spring is a time for renewal in Temecula Valley, and nature puts on a spectacular show! The wisteria blooms, which have become a signature of the season, blanket the Valley with vibrant purple hues. The Rose Haven Heritage Garden is a lovely private walking garden open to the public. Open from dawn until dusk and just a few minutes from Old Town, it is well worth a visit. Located in Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country, Briar Rose Winery is a charming family-owned and operated winery featuring a replica of Snow White’s cottage. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine on the enchanting outdoor patio, which features one of the largest olive trees in California and blooms into a beautiful English rose garden every spring.

Art, Culture, and Events Galore
Temecula Valley isn’t just about fine dining and wine – it’s also a hub for live entertainment, arts, and culture. On select Friday evenings from March through October, visitors are invited to support local artists at The Gallery at the Merc (42051 Main Street). The Merc is an historic building that dates back to the early 1900s. It has been beautifully renovated to serve as a gathering place for the community and serves as a hub for local artists and musicians to showcase their talents and connect with the community.

Temecula Sunset Market Returns for a New Season

Temecula Sunset Market is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in Town Square Park in front of City Hall. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, a food court, and rub elbows with the region’s finest artisans and craft people selling hand-crafted treasures. The market was created to bring a vibrant, family-friendly evening to Old Town Temecula, reminiscent of night markets internationally.
