In celebration of California Wine Month, Visit Temecula Valley will host Art in the Vines, a unique event that pairs local artists with participating wineries for live plein air painting.
From September 1-7, visitors can witness the artists at work, capturing the scenic beauty of the vineyards and wine country landscape. Art in the Vines highlights the region's vibrant arts scene while honoring its wineries and wine culture.
From Sept. 7-29, completed paintings will be showcased in a special gallery exhibition at Lorimar Vineyards & Winery. Throughout the month, winery guests are invited to vote for their favorite piece. The top three artists will be honored at an awards reception at the winery on September 30.
“Art in the Vines truly celebrates the beauty and bounty of Temecula Valley Wine Country during the harvest season,” said Scott A. Wilson, CEO of Visit Temecula Valley. “By bringing artists directly into the vineyards, we’re creating a very special experience for our visitors and the local community.”
Participating wineries include:
- Altisima Winery
- Bel Vino Winery
- Callaway Vineyard & Winery
- Churon Winery
- Europa Village Wineries & Resort
- Lorimar Vineyards & Winery
