Tuesday, November 24, 2020 5:00 PM by Annette Brown

The year 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone so Visit Temecula Valley is spreading the message of peace to its visitors. Visit Temecula Valley’s (VTV) holiday campaign “Find Your Peace” will run December through February. With all the uncertainty, anxiety, and stress people have experienced this year, VTV wants Californians to know Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country is peaceful place to escape to and relax.

They selected six local artists to hand paint a picture using the “Find Your Peace” theme. The local artists selected based on their talent were Bonnie Martland, Breanna Perales, Debra Gayle Sut, Jennifer Bonneteau, Melody Brunsting, and Tamra Gerard. The original artwork was enlarged to 8-foot wide by 10-foot high murals that will be on display the month of December throughout Old Town Temecula. They will hang on Old Town Front Street and City Hall buildings.

This year the traditional Old Town Christmas Tree will also be adorned with silver garland peace symbols. The tree will stand proudly on Main Street at Town Square Park in front of City Hall.
