Visit Temecula Valley Announces 2024 Holiday Decorating Contest Winners

Best Decorated Old Town Business: Luke's on Front

Visit Temecula Valley (VTV) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Temecula Chilled Holiday Decorating Contest, an annual event designed to encourage local businesses to create a fun and festive atmosphere for the holiday season. Judging took place in three categories: Best Decorated Old Town Business, Best Decorated Winery, and Best Decorated Tree in a Hotel. Seven local businesses were awarded for creating show-stopping holiday displays.  

“This popular annual event reflects our community’s wonderful spirit as creative teams go all out to transform their businesses into stunning displays that truly embrace the season,” said Scott A. Wilson, CEO of Visit Temecula Valley. “We encourage visitors and residents alike to visit Temecula and enjoy the amazing holiday displays in Old Town, Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country, and Pechanga Resort Casino.”  

The Winners 

In the Best Decorated Old Town Business category, First Place ($500) went to Luke’s on Front and Second Place ($300) went to Small Barn1909 Temecula took third place ($200). Prizes were provided by Visit Temecula Valley and the Old Town Temecula Association.  

In the Best Decorated Winery category, Europa Village ($500) was the First Place winner; Second Place ($300) went to Briar Rose Winery and Third Place ($200) was awarded to Callaway Vineyard & Winery. Prizes for this category were provided by Visit Temecula Valley and the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association.  

In the Best Decorated Hotel Tree category, Ponte Vineyard Inn was the winner for its beautiful trio of holiday trees. The team was awarded with a beautiful charcuterie platter from Grazing Theory

The Judges 

All entries were judged on a volunteer basis by five California destinations: Visit Greater Palm Springs, Visit Oceanside, Visit San Diego, Visit Santa Cruz County, and the Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau.
