Summer Nights Gives Cool Reasons to Plan a Visit

Summer Nights in Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country includes headline concerts, live music, refreshing cocktails, delicious foods, and special events. Temecula Valley resorts and hotels offer tempting weeknight room rates. The casual, picturesque Temecula Valley vacation destination is located just 60 minutes from San Diego, Orange County and Palm Springs, and 90 minutes of Los Angeles.

The fun begins by securing tickets for performances at Temecula Valley winery venues, Old Town Temecula Community Theater, and Pechanga Resort Casino. Summer Nights entertainment includes Chris Isaac, Brown & Gray, Smokey Robinson, Scotty McCreery, Elvis Costello & The Imposters & Blondie, Kenny G., Rodney Atkins, Brian Regan; as well as fan favorite tribute concerts, and live music throughout the Valley.

July launches with 4th of July Family Fun & Fireworks at Ronald Regan Sports Park, boasting live music, food vendors, a kids’ fun zone, and of course, a firework extravaganza. Other 4th of July evening events include Brown & Gray in concert at South Coast Winery Resort followed by a drone light show. Pechanga Resort Casino will also do their annual firework display across the sky.

Ponte Family Fest from 5pm to 9pm at Ponte Winery on Thursday, July 18, includes delicious eats from local food trucks, live entertainment, vineyard horse and carriage rides, children face painting, and wine and beer for the adults.

Summer Sunset Holiday Taste is a new culinary event on Thursday, July 30, 5pm-9pm. Attendees will stroll through Old Town Temecula during sunset visiting restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops while enjoying live music, small bites, wine and beer tastes, and shopping.

Old Town Live features live music throughout Old Town Temecula’s 12-block historic district every weekend through Labor Day. Venues showcase blues, rock, reggae, country, and Latin rhythms throughout the summer. Old Town Live is ideal for enjoying nightlife then walking to one of the several hotels nearby for an overnight stay, including the newly opened Best Western Plus and Home2 Suites.
