Baily Family Vineyards, founded in 1986 and now Temecula’s oldest continuously family-owned winery, is going back to its roots by consolidating its operations at its original winery on Pauba Road above the De Portola Wine Trail, and closing Carol’s Restaurant.
“We are making enhancements to our facility on Pauba to showcase the winemaking operations, the beautiful view, and to elevate the tasting experience for our visitors. Our entire tasting room staff will be moving to Pauba so that they can continue to serve our customers in the same exceptional manner. The tasting room on La Serena will be open until September 30 with tasting operations at Pauba commencing on October 1,” says Phil Baily,
Adds Carol Baily, “We’ve had 25 great years serving you at Carol’s Restaurant, and we will miss all the friends we’ve made. We’ve helped you celebrate your anniversaries, first dates, weddings, receptions, memorials, and hundreds of holidays, and we’ve loved your dogs almost as much as you love them. It’s going to be hard to lose the place we’ve built from the ground up but we’re looking forward to the next chapter in our lives. Please come to see us before our final lunch on September 21.”
This is an exciting move for Baily Family Vineyards as it begins its 40th harvest. The renovated location on Pauba will provide visitors a front row seat to the winemaking process and the chance to mingle with members of the Baily family while tasting fantastic wines and taking in one of Wine Country’s best views.
Four generations of the Baily Family include: Carol & Phil Baily; Patrick Baily; Chris & Kim Baily; Alex & July Baily and one-year-old baby, Christopher; Hayley & Brian Baily; Nolan & Rachel Baily and one-year-old baby, Cedar.
