TEMECULA, Calif. - (April 28, 2014) - Two of the country's hottest comedians will be dishing out the jokes and looking for big laughs later this year. Pechanga Resort & Casino announces funnymen Lewis Black and Brian Regan will be appearing in the Pechanga Theater in October and December respectively. Lewis Black brings his ridiculing of history, trends, cultural phenomena and just about everything else to Temecula in "The Rant Is Due" tour on Friday, October 3 at 8:00p.m. Tickets are $69, $79, $89 and $95 and go on sale Friday, May 2 at 3:00p.m. Brian Regan turns mundane tasks like packing and shipping UPS boxes and other everyday undertakings to comic relief and leaves audiences roaring. He appears in two shows at 7:00pm and 9:30p.m. on Saturday, December 6. Tickets are $55, $65, $75 and $85 and are now on sale. Tickets for both shows may be purchased in person at the Pechanga Box Office, via telephone at 877-711-2946 or online at www.Pechanga.com.

Brian Regan grew up a fan of Steve Martin, the Smothers Brothers and Johnny Carson. According to About.com, his football coach in college encouraged him to consider going into theater and communications, instead of his initial field of study, accounting. He recorded his first CD, Brian Regan Live, in 1997. Gaining a larger following through heavy tour schedules, he released a DVD of his performance at the Irvine Improv in 2004 called I Walked on the Moon. In 2007, he got a big break with Comedy Central and signed a deal to star in two one-hour standup comedy specials. He went on to produce two more comedy DVDs and another CD/MP3 download available only on his website. His non-stop theater tour has visited more than 80 cities every year since 2005 and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Lewis Black, a comedian, author, playwright and social critic, starred in his first comedy special series on Comedy Central Presents in 1998. The network brought him back for two more episodes in 2000 and 2002. He hosted the popular "Lewis Black's Root of All Evil" on Comedy Central. Audiences have also seen him on HBO, The History Channel, in episodes of Law & Order, The Weather Channel and in movies such as "Accepted," "Man of the Year," and "Unaccompanied Minors."

Pechanga offers even more laughs every Friday and Saturday nights at the Pechanga Comedy Club. Two shows each night at 7:30p.m. and 9:30p.m. give audiences the chance to see the best touring comedians for a low ticket price of $15. Guests must be 21 or older to see shows at the Pechanga Comedy Club. For tickets to the Pechanga Comedy Club, call 877-711-2946 or visit www.Pechanga.com.
