Sustainable Food Advocates Chef Leah di Bernardo and Don Webber to Present on Value of Local Agriculture at Upcoming Conference

Di Bernardo and Webber will share insights gleaned through their joint efforts to promote a sustainable, local food culture via Temecula-based E.A.T. Marketplace and Harvest2U

RIVERSIDE, CA; (March 10, 2014)---Temecula food stars Chef Leah di Bernardo and Don Webber will be featured speakers at Seedstock's Agricultural Conference "Grow Riverside: Citrus and Beyond!" happening March 19 and 20. The two will round out a stellar lineup of notable authorities on sustainability and the California farm industry.

Di Bernardo, a leader in Temecula's Slow Food Chapter and advocate for clean, fair and local food production, will deliver an examination of "The Value and Meaning of Local Agriculture." Webber founded third-party CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Harvest2U and recently partnered with Di Bernardo under the E.A.T. Marketplace moniker to pioneer a set of programs that will conveniently deliver locally-sourced, sustainably-produced food to residents of Riverside County and beyond.

"We are excited to be part of this fantastic countywide conversation on how to increase awareness and improve availability of our region's local, sustainable agricultural assets (read: awesome food)," says Webber.

Information about E.A.T. Marketplace is available online at www.eatmarketplace.com; the site will relaunch in early April with additional information about Harvest2U and other upcoming programs. Information about Harvest 2U is available at www.harvest.com. Each year, Harvest 2U delivers more and more locally grown organic produce to homes and businesses in Riverside County.
